Marriage

Marriage is part of life and people are meant to be with someone in some point in their life.   Choosing to get a temporary marriage is more like an extended dating period between the couple. If  they want to see if things work out as a married couple why not just extend the time before getting  married? If anything that marriage option would end up leaving the individual worse, because they  might think things are serious and children come into the picture but then they decide to not renew  the license who is going to get custody of the children? 

Today marriage might be not that common but back then around the 60s marriage was a must  because one person wasn’t financially stable to support a house or let alone a car. Marriage was a  must in that period. A divorce might not have been around back then because those married people  have decided to stick to each other even if someone was hitting the other. My uncle would always  get drunk and make my aunt cry everyday but they still fought threw that., fortunately they don’t do  that anymore now they live happy. Today many of people go to college and be smart on what they  get into. Teens might not be thinking about the future and have kids and then realize that it isn’t easy to maintain themselves by working at a McDonald’s somewhere. A divorce might be in that couples future, they don’t get a higher education other than high school diploma and start living in their  parents basements. 

But an education might backfire for some because spending a lot of time in school wont be good for one’s social life. They will spend all their time doing homework and studying and don’t have time to find a partner when they are young. No one is going to date an older person, ten, fifteen years  older than him or herself. 

Today people are free to do what ever they feel like doing and deciding not to get married is also an option, money isn’t that much of a problem to obtain anymore. One is more than capable of  surviving their life alone but no one would enjoy to grow old and die alone. Kids are going to be nice to have.

I have a neighbor that just got married today, they have been together about 3 months now I  don’t think it’s going to last to long. I don’t think they even threw a party or anything the only thing different is that their is a sign outside saying “just married”. I would like to get married one day and  hopefully wont have to get divorced and be by myself. I already have the names for my kids, if that  special someone approves of them. Marriage is a life long commitment between a couple that want  that official saying by the church. Now that couple would have to think together to make decisions  like a house to buy or a car, even the shirt your going to wear.
